Day 1: Lima

We are already in Peru!

After all the paperwork with migrations and suitcases, we finally start this beautiful trip! Here at the airport, we will be waiting for you to take them to your chosen hotel. On the route we can appreciate the great Pacific Ocean and as the time, our capital offers us many activities and various places to enjoy. As a walk at sunset in the "Costa Verde" and taste of good Peruvian cuisine such as a ceviche, lomo saltado, among others ... If there is more time, a visit to the district of Barranco, for its bohemian neighborhoods with a picturesque colonial architecture, it is unmissable and will further enrich our experience.

Day 2: Lima - Arequipa - City Tour

08:00 a.m. - We have breakfast at the hotel and go to the Jorge Chávez del Callao International Airport, where we will board a flight to Arequipa, called the White City for its constructions in ashlar stone.

12:30 p.m. - And since we are here, because not enjoy the cuisine of this beautiful city in some traditional local restaurants called “picanterías” by the residents… sure a “rocoto relleno”, a “chicharrón de cerdo” or a “pastel de papas” they will be the unmissable!

02:30 p.m. - A City Tour is also unmissable, where we can admire the Monastery de Santa Catalina, the Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús (1590), the districts of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto, in which we will enjoy a panoramic view of the arequipeña countryside with the majestic Misti volcano and a beautiful sunset.

Day 3: Arequipa - Colca

08:00 a.m. - After an energizing breakfast, we started our trip to the Cañón del Colca. The route to Chivay (first stop point) could not be better nuanced than with the beautiful landscapes of Andean volcanoes and reserve areas of vicuñas and alpacas.

01:00 p.m. - When we arrive, a delicious buffet awaits us with typical and traditional food. And after this long trip and a short break at the hotel, the best part of the day is the refreshing bathrooms in the hot springs of the area. Fascinating!

Day 4: Colca - Puno

06:30 a.m. - Today, that in the morning we will have to get up and have breakfast soon... Since we will have to go to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor and others nearby.

09:00 a.m. - From this point, when we arrive, we can appreciate the majestic overflow, in the Canyon and Valle del Colca, of these Andean birds that were the messengers of the gods in the Inca era: "The condors." Here we will have a little time for photographs. Then, we will return to Chivay again, but on the route, we will visit some populations such as Maca, Achoma, and savor a sour colca, made with a special fruit that grows in this area of the Valley. Sounds delicious, right?

12:00 p.m. - Upon arriving in Chivay again, a buffet with traditional typical food will be our best repairing this day.

01:30 p.m. - Our bus to Puno waits for you! This route, although a bit long, will also allow us to enjoy Andean landscapes.

07:00 p.m. - Finally, we arrive at the city that is lucky enough to have the highest navigable lake in the world (3,810 m.s.n.m).

Day 5:  Uros – Taquile – Puno

07:00 a.m. - This time we will have breakfast soon, to fully enjoy this day. We will embark from the port of Puno destined for the Uros floating islands. After these first fascinating views we will reach the floating islands, where we can not only appreciate their multicolored crafts, but in addition to its people, customs, their fauna and flora. Why not a walk in a "raft"? These vessels made by the islanders are based on reeds called "totora" that grow in this part of Lake Titicaca.

09:30 a.m. - After this fascinating experience we will continue our route to the natural Island of Taquile, endowed with a beautiful panoramic landscape of the lake and combined with the inhabitants and their tradition of continuing to keep their symbolic costumes and textiles. We will be taken on a time trip.

12:30 p.m. -With this wonderful view of the landscapes of the island of Taquile, such as not enjoying a lunch with Andean products typical of the area!

01:40 p.m. - Upon returning to the city of Puno, this fabulous experience will leave us great memories... After an hour and a half travel we will arrive again to Puno! We will have time to enjoy this highland city at 03:30 p.m.

Day 6:  Puno – Cusco

06:30 a.m. - After having breakfast, we will be transferred to the bus station, to board the tourist bus that will make the Ruta del Sol to the city of Cusco. This trip, although a bit long, will allow us to visit the main archaeological sites, museums and populations, such as: Pucará, Raqchi, former temple of the god Wiracocha and Andahuaylillas, beautiful colonial town. And also in this route is the buffet with Andean products for food time.

05:30 p.m. - Almost at sunset, we will be reaching the famous city of Cusco, which houses the majestic Machu Picchu and other sacred mountains of the Incas.

Day 7:  Cusco – City Tour

Today we will have the free morning to explore this beautiful city of combined Inca and colonial architecture, considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

02:00 p.m. - And this afternoon is unmissable, we can visit the archaeological zones such as: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay, the famous Qoricancha temple and the Cathedral decorated with beautiful paintings of the famous artists of school of art of Cusco. No doubt unmissable...

06:30 p.m. - After this beautiful tour, we return to the hotel and we will know a little more from the city of Cusco in its nightlife.

Day 8: Cusco - Sacred Valley

08:00 a.m. - This morning, after breakfast, we will take the route to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, enriched with Andean landscapes with beautiful mountains and populated such as Pisaq and Urubamba, where we can enjoy this community that is dedicated to textilery and who will show us the process of their art. Then a traditional buffet to enjoy this walk is also part of the experience.

03:00 p.m. - Finally, the strength of Ollantaytambo is the last destination of this day. Here we will have the option of staying in Ollantaytambo or in a hotel in the Valley, close to it, to be able to take the train the next day.

Day 9:  Machu Picchu – Cusco

06:30 a.m. - Followed by a typical breakfast of the area, we will be transferred to the train station to be able to embark and go to the town of Aguas Calientes or also called, Machu Picchu Pueblo, which, after an hour and 20 minutes of trip, we can arrive and from there embark on a bus that will take us to one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences in the world. Machu Picchu, Cultural Heritage of Humanity and Wonder of the Modern World, built at the top of the mountain in full jungle eyebrow, surrounded by vegetation, valleys and rivers! It is surprising all its visitors! Without a doubt, to enjoy it and relax with this fascinating energy (guided 2:30 hours approximately). And on our return, we can enjoy Aguas Calientes, its restaurants for food, its shopping and because no, if it gives us time, its thermal baths.

06:20 p.m. - Tired, but happy after this day, we will return by train to Ollantaytambo, and then make a connection in a vehicle that will take us to Cusco!

10:30 p.m. - Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Day 10: Palcoyo Mountain of Colors or Maras Moray

05:30 a.m. - Very soon, on the morning of this day, we will go out to Palcoyo and Color Mountain. Almost at dawn we will enjoy the first rays of the sun and on a two -hour trip, enjoying colorful colonial villages on the route, we will finally reach the town of Combapata. Here is an energizing breakfast with hot coffee at home - restaurant of a local family. From this point, we will resume the vehicle and, in an hour and a half travel, we will enjoy beautiful colorful landscapes along the Valle de Salcca.

10:00 a.m. - Upon reaching the starting point, we will make a short walk of 40 minutes towards the first viewpoint, in this valley painted from beautiful multicolored mountains and adjacent rivers, without a doubt, beautiful. The Ausangate (the highest snowy mountain in Cusco, 6375m) will also be one of the best memories of this visit. We return to the town to enjoy a lunch prepared by organized families, then return to Cusco at 05:30 p.m.

(Optional) - Visit to the salt mines of Maras and the archaeological complex of Moray, an old agricultural experimentation center of the Incas. Here endemic plants of lower altitudes and more benevolent climates were acclimated to be able to be cultivated later on the terraces of the Sacred Valley. It really is another unmissable option in Cusco!

Day 11: Cusco - Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata Reserve

09:00 a.m. - And here we are again, ready for this final part of our visit to that beautiful country! Surely, until now, it has been impressive to enjoy this trip with so many contrasts, but this special visit will leave you with your mouth open! Transport by vehicle to the airport, to take the flight to Puerto Maldonado, on a trip of almost an hour.

12:46 p.m. - And we arrived in Puerto Maldonado! You already feel the temperature change at 28 degrees! What a change! And now we have to take a motor canoe boat that will take us through the Madre de Dios River to the Reserva Nacional de Tambopata... This approximately an hour and a half trip, full of vegetation and bird songs and other animals of the Amazon jungle, will undoubtedly be a great reception!

02:30 p.m. - We arrive at Lodge reserved, an important welcome briefing, we settled in our cabins and then we will try the typical amazon food.

03:30 p.m. - This afternoon, we will have a walk through the amazon basin, where we can appreciate the great and fantastic ecosystem of this region of the planet. We will observe the great trees such as Shihuahuaco and Ficus Estrangulador.

06:00 p.m. - At night, dinner with typical Amazon gastronomy.

** At night, optional night walk in Canoa, where we can observe owls, routes and alligators.

Day 12: Puerto Maldonado - Lago Sandoval - Tambopata Reserve

08:00 a.m. - After an amazon breakfast we will take a motor canoe to visit the Sandoval Lake, which will lead us through the river towards the Reserva Nacional de Tambopata, a multitude home of species, such as the giant otter of river, the red howler’s monkeys, red belly macaws and different turtle species.

12:30 p.m. - Amazon food and in the afternoon, optional, we will enjoy a relaxed afternoon or we will take a walk along the roads that run towards viewers or elevated platforms and we can appreciate beautiful landscapes of the reserve, from these hopefully we can observe spider monkeys, carpenters, among other species. Return to Lodge.

05:30 p.m. - Dinner with typical Amazon gastronomy and if you wish, you can try exotic bar drinks.

Day 13: Tambopata - Puerto Maldonado - Lima

And our last day to say goodbye to the Peruvian Amazon... After our breakfast, we will take the canoe that will return to Puerto Maldonado, city from where we will take the plane to Lima.

Optional **If it gives us time, we could visit the butterfly "Casa de las Mariposas" of Puerto Maldonado!

Where the diversity, beauty and adaptability of these fascinating insects are exhibited. Our beautiful country has the largest variety of butterflies in the world (3700 species).

We arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel.

Day 14:  Lima

Today we deserve this break! And even more if we need to have everything ready for our international flight and not be in trouble when it comes to taking it... On this day, we can take the opportunity to visit some places that we have lost from Lima, visit some bars and try some piscos in Barranco overlooking the sea or eating some delicious anticuchos, which are unmissable of our Peruvian cuisine, or visiting nearby neighborhoods, or simply relax before our long trip home... It was all special, right?

Day 15: Lima - Country of Origin
