Itinerary

Day 1: Puno

Reception and contact at the airport, bus or train station and transfer to the respective hotel in order to receive important information and recommendations necessary for the next few days.

Night in Puno.

Day 2: Puno - Uros - Luquina

08:00 a.m. - Contact at the hotel and transfer to the port of Puno, from where we will embark to go to the floating islands of the Uros, unique in their kind, where we can know the way of life of its inhabitants and we can appreciate the craft they elaborate based on “Totora”, their embroidery textiles and full color tapestries. During our visit we can also enjoy a short journey from a floating island to another in the famous “rafts”, which are canoes of Totora, made by the islanders.

10:30 a.m. - We will start the route of approximately one hour, towards the Peninsula of Chucuito to the community of Luquina, during the journey we can enjoy the imposing landscape of the Altiplano and the Lake Titicaca. Upon arrival, we will be received by the host family. We accommodate and then we will go for a walk along the beach of Karina, and enjoy tranquility with a small walk on the shores of the lake.

Return to the family home.

01:00 p.m. - Typical lunch prepared by families, which are prepared with organic and typical products of the area.

02:30 p.m. - After a short break, families will demonstrate their crafts or daily activities according to the time and then we will make a walk to one of the mountains considered sacred by the community. This is where the payments are made to Mother Earth "Pachamama".

06:00 p.m. - Dinner with the family.

Night at a family home.

Day 3: Luquina - Taquile - Puno

Breakfast and rest in the morning.

10:30 a.m. - Contact in the port of Luquina with our boat and say goodbye to the family to continue our journey to the island of Taquile. Characterized by its beautiful landscapes and textile crafts. Walk towards one of the communities, where we can enjoy a traditional meal with a fabulous view of the lake.

Return to the city of Puno.
